Nano cotton containing silver having immunity.

Relevancy:  

Nano cotton contains silver having excellent immunity and bactericidal effect. The nano cotton is useful for bedclothes, a pillow, a cushion, a mat and clothes. Nano cotton is obtained by the steps of: preparing silver having 99.99% of purity; electrolyzing the silver in water; washing the nano cotton with the silver water, followed by dehydrating and drying the nano cotton; making the silver into super fine particles having 10-20nm with a nano method; and then spraying the silver particles to the nano cotton.

Nano Invar Alloys and a Process of Producing the same.

Electrolyte for producing a novel Fe-Ni alloy having an Ni content in a range of 33 to 42 wt%, specifically a nanocrystalline invar alloy having a grain size of 5 to 15 nm, by electroplating.. The electrolyte comprises, on the basis of 1 L of water, 32 to 53 g of ferrous sulfate or ferrous chloride, a mixture thereof; 97 g of nickel sulfate, nickel chloride, nickel sulfamate or a mixture thereof; 20 to 30 g of boric acid; 1 to 3 g of sodium saccharin; 0.1 to 0.3 g of sodium lauryl sulfate; and 20 to 40 g of sodium chloride. The Fe-Ni alloy sheet exhibits excellent mechanical properties compared to the conventional Fe-Ni and a new property, i.e., a negative coefficient of thermal expansion at a given temperature range.

Nano Scale Mechanical Property Evaluation of DLC Film Deposited by PBH Method.

Nano scratch/mar testing of paint on metal substrates.

Relevancy:  

A mechanical tester was used to measure the load required to cause failure to a 7 year old, 30 to 50 micrometre-thick paint sample on a metal substrate. The results were used as a way to determine quantitative values for scratch resistance and true depth values amongst various samples. A clear and consistent cracking failure with consistent true depth values may be used for further improvement of sample durability. Means for critical load determination are indicated. It is noted that true depth analyses the plastic and elastic deformation of the sample during testing.
