Ultra high power illumination for pcb's

Relevancy:  

Printed circuit board pattern illumination sources of high power but uncollimated use reflectors of the size of the work being illuminated. They can be used to image structures down to 75µm width or spacing. Air cooled metal halogen light sources are more emissive in the useful UV range than normal lamps and have a longer life. Exposure times for dry film resists are a few seconds or 10 to 20 sec for solder stopmask. In consequence, work feed becomes the rate determining step.

Ultra High Speed Plating Process Using Small Hard Particles

Small hard particles are used to perturb the diffusion layer so allowing very high limiting c.d's. Particles are either loose in a vibratory tub or mounted on a flexible porous backing such as anon woven fabric. Ultra Thick Photoresist Processing

93 213254 Engl. Use of thick film (>40 um) photoresists for electroforming of micro Fresnel zone plates is described. Problems do occur at thicknesses >15 to 18 um due to defects in the bulk of the resist and loss of u.v. The problem of sidewall taper is discussed.

Ultra water-repellant films with controlled surfaces fabricated by microwave plasma-enhanced chemical vapour deposition

Polymerised organosilicon films containing fluorine were fabricated using microwave plasma-enhanced CVD. Films were prepared from gas mixtures containing tetramethylsilane or (hexamethyldisilane and heptadecafluoro-1,1,2,2, tetrahydro-decyl)-1-trimethoxysilane. Water-repellant films having contact angles exceeding 150 degrees were produced.
